Qualities of an entrepreneur

"Leadership

The role of an entrepreneur is to convene other people and convince them to be part of your initiatives. Managing this group and attracting clients is one of his responsibilities, but the ability to communicate and learn, to listen and to create a team is also valued. Being a leader not only means making decisions, but also creating and generating value.

"Networking

Credit Swiss conducted a study in which it revealed that networking is one of the crucial parts of every entrepreneur's success: we live in an era where the development of communication networks allows the exchange of perspectives to be a mandatory platform for growth. As an entrepreneur you have to be able to take advantage of these circumstances and generate a virtuous network of relationships with suppliers, financial institutions, as well as with your peers, i.e. other business owners.

"Mobility

Everything is changing at an impressive speed. Within this chaos, the up-to-date entrepreneur is the one who learns to move and move beyond the limits. Hence the importance of expanding your technological knowledge and mastering new work tools, from mobile devices to computer systems to control your business more effectively. At the same time, you need to transcend physical boundaries and expand into other markets.

"Openness to change

Although more and more people are encouraged to start a business, entrepreneurship implies taking risks. But it also requires an ability to anticipate, to have a vision of the future. A gift that is closely linked to the ability to adapt to different situations and constant changes over time.

"Transparency

Part of the commitment of being the head of an organization involves sharing your knowledge with others, while receiving feedback. When you share one idea, ten come along. The entrepreneur must have a level of humility and honesty that leads him or her to contribute to the community and thus receive greater value from society.

Once you focus on developing your own initiative and acquire the essential entrepreneurial skills, it's time to get down to business. Unlike other businesses, successful companies are those that have the ability to execute and operate effectively and efficiently. Much of a company's success depends on the entrepreneur, his discipline and focus.

"Nonconformity

The entrepreneur should be constantly filling his life with something that gives it meaning; betting on an existence that becomes useful for others and for himself, moving away from a vulgar life. And as the saying goes: "there is no one who spends his time badly and time does not punish him". Life is full of alternatives and options. To live is to bet and keep the bet. To bet and withdraw at the first setback would be to die in advance.

To be an entrepreneur you have to be determined. You can consult, ask for advice, seek information, but in the end the decision is yours.

"Imperviousness to criticism

All great entrepreneurs have always been recognized for their ability to self-analyze and see their own failures. This does not mean that they do not take into account the opinions of others, whether positive or negative, but that they tend to trust their own decisions more.

" Passion

And last but not least, passion is for me the most important. You probably spend thousands of hours working on your dream company. Therefore, possessing a passion for what you are doing is one of the most important entrepreneurial qualities. If we don't enjoy or feel strongly about the pursuit of our achievements, we can start to feel like we are in just another job. We can lose interest in our business idea, which makes achieving success that much more difficult.
