Come work at The ShedIn The Shed we accompany companies and entrepreneurs since 2013. We are one of the first coworkings in Madrid.
Although in Spain coworking spaces are quite recent (we talk about the first ones started to open around 2013), in Europe they have been used since 1995 as a way to optimize resources and create synergies at work.
What will you get if you work at The Shed?
But there are a couple of things to keep in mind before choosing us, and that is that The Shed is not for everyone who is looking for a coworking space.
If what you want is a workspace with social events, craft beer and a soundtrack in the bathroom to have a good time at the expense of your productivity, then this is not the place for you.
We were born before the coworking world became an industry, before the arrival of Real Estate and multinationals transformed coworking spaces into impersonal hyper-luxury offices.
The Shed is also not your place if you are lost, you don't know what direction to take your business and what you want is a miraculous panacea to find thousands of customers. We don't have a magic ball to multiply clients and turnover.
What we do assure you is that, if you want a close professional environment, The Shed is your coworking.
What we can offer you is a professional environment, in a prestigious neighborhood, where you feel supported and have all the facilities to be more productive. Here, in addition to working and sharing space with other companies and entrepreneurs, you can have a coffee with us, the founders and promoters of coworking, and share knowledge and concerns.

Do you want to know where our original name comes from?
Everything has a meaning and a significance, and so does our name.
When the Great Recession hit the U.S. and Canada, people started putting up small prefabricated sheds in backyards to work on their businesses and projects.
That is why we have chosen the booth as one of the elements of our image (and it also exists in real inside our facilities).
Shed also means to break up.
It is the process of renewal of the antlers of the deer, one of the animals with the most majestic and haughty demeanor.
Unlike other species, deer antlers fall off each year and a new one is born that grows in size and ramifications according to the age, diet and social status of the animal.
At The Shed, we believe that, like deer, human beings have the ability to remake ourselves.
Personal and professional transformation is a basic need for companies and
entrepreneurs in these times of great change.
So, joining these two meanings we created our logo.
Who are we behind The Shed?
We are 3 people who created this pioneer coworking space: Carlos, Gonzalo and Martina.
Our goal is to accompany you in your professional journey, so we do everything possible to make your working days go smoothly, always with a smile and a close and friendly personal treatment.
You won't find an intern here to assist you.
The promoters of this coworking space, we are the same people who give you a face and support you in your day to day.
We know, from our own experience, how difficult and at the same time stimulating the world of entrepreneurship is and we accompany you to continue growing in it.
Gonzalo Navarro
With more than 15 years of experience in the corporate world, I have held management positions in multinationals such as Sodexo, Carlisle and SmartBox, with tasks mainly related to customer acquisition, customer loyalty and sales management.
In 2013 I decided to make a change in my professional career to focus all my efforts in a radically different environment.
Founding partner of The Shed and responsible for billing, contracts and space management. If you have any questions about these topics, I'm your man.
Carlos Llerena
For 15 years I was in different positions in I.T. departments of large companies, where I managed projects and teams at national and international level.
Tired of not being able to make my own decisions and in the middle of the crisis, I decided to take a turn, start a business and take the reins of my professional life. The result was The Shed, a coworking space where companies have the possibility to realize their dreams.
I am a founding partner of The Shed, an IT man by profession, but not by vocation. If you have any questions about IT, don't ask me, I don't remember anything.
Martina D'Ercoli
With more than 15 years of experience in the design and communication sector, I have developed projects of identity and brand image, creativity, on and offline design, and communication strategies.
Ingenuity, imagination and aesthetic taste are the bases with which I undertake all my projects. And with a seal made in Italy, which is a guarantee 😉
Partner "adopted" of The Shed and responsible for issues related to identity and brand image and internal events that promote our philosophy of enjoy working. All this while I try to put a little more... order.

Our customer service hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.
